ESPIRITU DAY OF THE DEAD, 1996

Espíritu presented at the California Center for the Arts from September 16, 1995 - January 14, 1996, showcased a rich exploration of Mexican and Latin American spirituality, identity, and cultured traditions. Through a variety of artistic expressions—ranging from paintings and photographs to mixed media—this exhibition showcased works that captured the essence of the spiritual, blending everyday life with elements of ritual and cultural heritage.
